Clarence Legal Services (CLS)
CLS is our in-house incorporated legal practice, which provides legal support services to our members.
CLS provides members back-office consulting support in conveyancing and probate matters, as well as other areas as required.
Additionally, our paralegal team is highly experienced and offers on-site and virtual services to assist your firm. Using our paralegal team enables you to improve productivity, maximise resources and control costs – allowing you to do more fee-based work.
Our paralegals are situated in our offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and are available on an hourly charged basis or as a fixed-price engagement.
Jake Stockley
Jake Stockley is the principal solicitor of Clarence Legal Services. Jake has been practising law for 7 years, and this experience allows him to provide comprehensive legal support services to Clarence members.
While practising, Jake developed a keen eye for detail, significant experience in legal documents and processes, and a strong ability to process information efficiently. These skills allow Jake (and his team, through his supervision) to provide thorough and comprehensive assistance in any area of law.
Jake and his team of seven staff are available to our members for all manner of legal support services.
Magdalena Sudol
Magdalena Sudol has joined CLS as a senior probate paralegal, having worked for legal firms in Sydney for over 30 years.
During her career, Magdalena has gained extensive experience in the management of Probate/Letters of Administration and Wills & Estate matters, managing these matters for clients from start to finish. She has strong interpersonal skills and understands how to prioritise matters, enabling her to go above and beyond for our members and their clients.
Magdalena also has significant experience in litigation and personal injury work.
Katie Shanahan
Katie Shanahan, a Senior Paralegal in our Sydney team, holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland and worked for an Irish Legal firm in the areas of conveyancing, probate and litigation. Since being in Australia Katie has worked with HWL Ebsworth as a paralegal in their property practice. Katie is experienced in drafting various legal documents.
Chloe Murray
A Rockhampton native, Chloe cut her teeth in property law at a local practice specialising in property law. Soon moving to Holding Redlich, Chloe developed big firm capabilities, assisting with often complex property matters for a wide range of clientele.
Equipped with top-of-town knowledge and experience, Chloe joined Clarence Legal services to provide more personal support for our members, seeking to assist in all kinds of property matters.
Joanne Camilleri
Joanne Camilleri is a Licensed Conveyancer with 26 years of experience in conveyancing (22 years as a Licensed Conveyancer). Joanne’s expertise stretches across the full range of residential conveyancing work, with experience in handling commercial matters.
Joanne’s varied matters include sales, purchases, transfers, and leases, with files handled from start to finish. With an expert understanding of property law and conveyancing, and the all-important buyer and seller needs in transactions, Joanne delivers high-quality results for her clients in all settings.
