Austin was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 1997. Prior to embarking on a legal career Austin qualified as an Accountant (CPA) and worked for several years as a commercial Accountant. After being admitted as a lawyer Austin worked for a national Commonwealth regulator before he embarked on a career in private practice in law where he has remained in various capacities as an employed solicitor, sole practitioner, legal practitioner director, before establishing his Sydney commercial tax practice.
Austin’s clients include small-medium enterprises, companies with international exposure, and high net worth individuals. Austin has worked on substantial litigious cases involving the application of international laws briefing foreign lawyers in multiple jurisdictions.
