Luke Connolly has over 20 years of experience in the field of workplace relations, employment and safety law. In addition to Victoria, Luke has also worked extensively in the jurisdictions of New South Wales and South Australia, which gives him a unique perspective of the many challenges faced by employers in managing cross border business relations.
Luke advises companies ranging from large listed companies to mid-size companies on the various and wide-ranging issues in his area of expertise including for the hotel, food processing, retail, transport, media, printing, and insurance industries.
Apart from his commercial and advisory background within his area of expertise, Luke also has strong litigation experience, having acted for a number of clients on matters such as defending industrial action, restraint of trade and protecting commercial confidence of information and trade secrets, defending occupational health and safety prosecutions, unfair and unlawful dismissal claims and breach of employment contracts.
Luke is also a nationally accredited workplace trainer and regularly presents at seminars and conducts training workshops within his area of expertise.
Luke performs his own advocacy work in all tribunal matters.
