Steven is an experienced lawyer who has been practising in Immigration Law since 2006.
Steven is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and has been admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the High Court of Australia and the High Court of New Zealand. Steven is also a member of the Law Council of Australia’s Federal Litigation and Dispute Resolution Section, which focuses on several international and transnational law areas, including migration and human rights matters.
Before jointly establishing Aditum Legal, Steven worked in specialist Immigration Law practices in Sydney, advising and assisting a diverse range of clients from many different backgrounds to successfully remain in or migrate to Australia based on their professional skills or ties to an Australian permanent resident or citizen. He also has represented many clients who have sought to remain in Australia based on their refugee status.
Steven understands the challenges faced by family members wishing to reunite, those who think that their immigration history might be an impediment to migration and those who have had past criminal convictions.
Steven also has an excellent track record assisting those clients who have been living in the Australian community for an extended period without legal status and who now wish to normalise their immigration status and those wishing to seek the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection’s intervention after having had a visa refusal.
